Description WSF 2520 is a premium multipurpose distillate and residual fuel oil treatment which will eliminate sludge while improving combustion and efficiency. It will stabilize the fuel for maintenance-free storage and will reduce carbon and soot buildup
Use WSF 2520 fuel oil treatment is a fuel oil conditioner used to disperse sludges and emulsify water. Through its dispersing and emulsification action WSF 2520 will: · Improve fuel atomisation · Improve combustion · Prevent sludge accumulation in oil tanks · Keep fuel oil lines and preheater cleaner · Minimise preburner corrosion · Keep burner tips cleaner
Features WSF 2520 is a scientifically formulated compound containing detergents, water-controlling agents dispersing and emulsifying agents.. It contains no harmful alcohols, acids, salts or heavy metals. It is completely miscible in the fuel and becomes part of the molecular structure of the fuel itself.
Feeding The recommended dosage of WSF 2520 is 0.1-0.4 liters per ton of fuel burned.WSF 2520 should be fed to the fuel oil storage tank for continuous treatment. To clean tanks, WSF 2520 should be pumped directly into the tank below the sludge level. To clean burner tips off line, burner tips should be soaked in WSF 2520 at full strength.
Handling precautions Wear rubber gloves and goggles, when handling. Avoid prolonged breathing of vapour. Avoid prolonged or repeated contact with skin. If liquid contact skin, immediately flush thoroughly with plenty of water. If liquid accidentally gets in eyes, immediately wash with plenty of water and get medical attention.
