Use
WSF 2570
is a liquid
blend of slag modifiers designed to prevent deposits on boiler firesides through
a catalyzed reaction with vanadium, sodium, nickel and sulfur. It will prevent
the formation of low melting vanadium pentoxide, sodium and nickel vanadates and
sodium sulfate.
The application of WSF 2570 will also minimize the
rate of fireside corrosion.
Features
WSF 2570 Fuel oil treatment is a highly concentrated
liquid blend of high alkalinity organometallic ash modifiers and stabilizers.
The reactions between fuel oil ash components and ash
modifiers are accelerated by a select
organometallic catalyst.
Feeding
WSF 2570 treatment may be added directly to the fuel oil
storage tank or pumped continuously to the fuel oil line. Addition to the fuel
oil line must be far enough before the burner to insure good mixing prior to
combustion.
The dosage rate of WSF 2570 will depend upon the fuel
oil composition, operating conditions, the nature and severity of fireside
problems and treatment program objectives.
The dosage will normally fall within the range of 0.10 - 0.40
liters per ton of fuel burned.
The optimum dosage will depend primarily upon the sulfur and
vanadium content of the fuel oil.
Handling precautions
Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Wear protective
gloves and goggles while handling. Wash thoroughly after handling. In case of
contact, immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes and
seek medical attention. Flush skin with water.
In case of spill, absorb with inert material. Flush area with
water.
Before use review the Material Safety Data Sheet for
additional information..
